Petition

Declare a national emergency over small boat Channel crossings.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

We call on the UK Government to formally declare a national emergency in response to ongoing small boat crossings of the English Channel and to introduce stronger, lawful border control measures.
The rise in small boat crossings poses serious risks to public safety, border security and national capacity. Documented cases show individuals arriving via illegal routes being charged with serious crimes, including sexual offences against minors.

We urge the Government to declare a national emergency and introduce stronger lawful border measures, faster asylum processing and increased international cooperation, while upholding UK and international law.
