Petition

Ban hunting with dogs in northern Ireland

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Stop the use of dogs for hunting any and all wildlife. Bring about harsh punishments for those who break these laws.
Dogs have long been used as a method of sport to rip up and kill animals after a prolonged chase to complete exhaustion. It is contradictory to the long held views of the people of Northern Ireland who by large are highly conscious of animal welfare.

People gaining joy out of the prolonged suffering of a defenders animal is not acceptable and it's time this barbaric practice was put to an end once and for all.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
