Petition

Ban the Sale of Fireworks to the General Public – Restrict to Professionals Only

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

We call on the UK Government to:

Prohibit the sale of fireworks to the general public.
Restrict fireworks use to licensed, professional organisers for large-scale, controlled displays only.
Fireworks may look beautiful, but for pets, livestock, and wildlife, they’re terrifying.
Fireworks cause significant stress and harm to animals, including pets, livestock, and wildlife. Loud explosions and bright flashes can lead to anxiety, injury, and even death for vulnerable animals.

This change would reduce animal suffering, improve public safety, and ensure fireworks are enjoyed responsibly.

Sign our petition to ban the sale of fireworks to the general public and restrict them to licensed professional displays only.
