Petition
Ensure all elections scheduled for May 2026 go ahead
Rejected

What the petition asks
I want the government to announce that all elections in the UK scheduled for May 2026 go ahead. We live in a democracy, and the people should have their say on who represents them at every level.
Elections are a fundamental democratic right, not something that can be postponed for political convenience. Cancelling or delaying scheduled elections would undermine public trust, weaken accountability, and deny voters their say. In a democracy, power comes from the ballot box and elections must go ahead as planned.
