Provide funding for Veterans to remain in care homes

What the petition asks
We call on the Government to create a fund to ensure that Veterans in Care Homes are not forced to change homes when their own private funding runs out. This can be especially hard for Veterans living with Dementia
There are many Veterans living in Care Homes/Nursing homes for their final years who may be faced with having to move out of the homes and into lower cost homes. We believe this is detrimental to their health and wellbeing and for many this change is likely to lead to their passing.
We want the Government to create a fund to ensure no veterans are forced to move out of their care home, which for many is their home where they have made friends and feel at peace.
