Direct train from Manchester Airport to Rochdale

What the petition asks

There is a direct train from Manchester Airport to Leeds. I think is a bit useless that we have to make a stop in Victoria to then take a train (to Leeds) to arrive to Rochdale.

Rochdale is the new Town of Culture for 2025-26 I'm Greater Manchester. Adding this line from the Airport will bring more people and easier.

Why it was rejected

It was about a matter for a local council or devolved government, not the UK Government or Parliament.
