What the petition asks
Impliment madatory student discount at grocery stores, percentage off whole shop as opposed to vouchers or deals currently available. Students find it hard to pay for accommodation as well as the university fees and groceries. Let alone anything else.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Pricing and discounts in supermarkets are a matter for the supermarket in question.
