Petition
Join the EU Customs Union
Rejected

What the petition asks
There was a ten minute motion voted on in Parliament on the 9th December 2025 that got more votes for yes (Joining the Customs Union). We as everyday citizens wish to see the UK rejoin the EU Customs Union to boost trade with our closest trading partner.
The UK economy has not done so well over the last 10 years. Some of this can be attributed to the financial costs associated with Brexit. Rejoining the Customs Union will be a move that will help grow UK GDP and show a willingness to the EU that we are a nation that is keen to reset the relationship with the EU.
