What the petition asks
Scrap the use of double passports to enter the UK on holiday. Ex pats now having to pay for a UK passport to enter the UK and can no longer use your dual nationalities passport.
This is an injustice to ex pats no longer living or working in the UK. Having a to pay £100-500 to enter the UK and will most likely never be used or needed again. Making other countries passport where you lived for 10-50 years invalid and unable to pay £19 for a travel visa like any other tourist. This is a government money making incentive to persecute ex pats visiting a place that once was their home.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
The petition title appears to request something which contradicts what the rest of the petition is calling for.
You could submit a new petition setting out more clearly what you want the UK Government or Parliament to do regarding entry requirements for UK citizens with dual nationality.
