Petition

Stop developers building on Margate last 2% of green land.

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Stop developers destroying Margates green land! Reject the Victoria road OL/TH/25/0996 plan and save the last 2% of natural space we have left . Our town doesn’t need more concrete, we need restoration. Once nature's gone, it’s gone forever.
After millions have been invested in Margate’s regeneration, it’s wrong to let developers build over the last of our natural land while so many derelict buildings stand empty. The government must restrict new building on green space and protect nature.

Why it was rejected

It was about a matter for a local council or devolved government, not the UK Government or Parliament.
