Petition

Take urgent action to protect Kurds and other minorities in Rojava, Syria

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

We urge the UK Government to take urgent diplomatic, humanitarian, and political action to protect Kurds and other vulnerable minorities in Rojava (north-east Syria) from jihadist attacks, including increased aid, international pressure to stop violence, and support for civilian protection globaly.
Kurds, along with Alawites, Christians, and other minorities in Rojava, face systematic attacks, displacement, and threats to their identity and survival. Women and children are especially at risk. These communities were key UK allies in the fight against ISIS. As a nation founded on democracy, human rights, and the rule of law, the UK must not remain silent. Protecting them upholds British values, counters extremism, and honors shared sacrifices for security.
