Compensate those affected by issues with government's wall insulation schemes

What the petition asks
Some homeowners signed up for an energy efficiency scheme run by the government. The scheme provided internal and external wall insulation to houses, which in some cases has since caused damp, mould and significant damage. Homeowners are calling for compensation for repairs they've paid for.
Since the works have been done, many residents have had to live with extreme damp and mould. This has led to residents paying for work to put things right, such as new kitchens, carpets, decorating etc. This has been an ongoing issue for over a decade. Some residents have unfortunately passed away having not seen these issues put right. The Government must pay for repairs, and compensate residents for putting the damages right themselves, which in some cases has amounted to thousands of pounds.
