Petition

Provide free period products for all girls and women via the NHS

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Provide free period products via the NHS for all girls and women, ensuring access through GP surgeries, pharmacies, hospitals and schools, to reduce period poverty, support menstrual health, and promote equality.
Access to period products is essential for health, dignity and equality. Many girls and women cannot afford these products, leading to missed school or work, poor menstrual hygiene, and negative health outcomes.

The NHS already provides essential healthcare free at the point of use. Providing period products through the NHS would help prevent period poverty, support menstrual health, and reduce health inequalities, aligning with Government commitments to women’s health.
