Review accountability of schools using local authority SEN funding
Open for signatures

What the petition asks
Review how schools are held accountable if they fail to provide funded SEN support for vulnerable children, and review the need for statutory oversight so schools must evidence SEN funding.
Give Ofsted strong powers to investigate failures, and introduce penalties for schools that fail pupils
It can be devastating if schools fail to provide funded SEN support. Some parents can repeatedly chase meetings, emailing & escalating concerns all while being blamed & watching their child struggle emotionally and academically. We feel the system burdens people to prove repeatedly that legal support wasnt provided. We feel vulnerable kids are being failed.
