What the petition asks
Introduce laws to legalise and regulate cannabis for adults in the UK. This should include licensed production and sale, strict age limits, product testing and labelling, restrictions on advertising, and taxation to fund the NHS, education and addiction services.
Cannabis is widely used in the UK despite being illegal, which allows the black market and organised crime to profit. Regulation would improve public safety through age checks, quality control and education.
