Petition
Make politics a mandatory lesson in British secondary schools
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
Install a new lesson into the curriculum that covers current politics, world affairs and the history of politics to keep our youth educated and aware if the voting age is lowered.
If the lowering of the voting age does go ahead, then it is imperative to ensure the youth is aware and educated on politics, as this can help them understand the difference they can make by voting and encourage them to vote.
