What the petition asks

We urge the Government to increase funding for visible neighbourhood policing, strengthen deterrents for repeat and violent offenders, support targeted burglary prevention. Our community feels unsafe after escalating break-ins and violence. Immediate action is needed to restore safety and confidence

We want the Government and Parliament (MP) to act because crime in our area has escalated to a dangerous level. Frequent burglaries and a recent violent break-in have left residents fearful in their own homes. Families and elderly neighbours feel especially vulnerable. Without stronger policing, prevention, and deterrence, offenders will grow bolder. Urgent action is needed to restore safety, confidence, and trust in the justice system.
