To require job advertisers to reply to all applicants, regardless of outcome.

What the petition asks
I want the government to debate and if necessary legislate to force job advertisers in the UK, to respond to all applicants with a final outcome of their application no matter what stage the application reaches.
The need for person to apply for employment, can be borne from an infinite number of reasons, some through a desire for change, or a first job after leaving education through to the need to work due to desperate unforeseen circumstances. The effect on applicants who receive no response to advertised jobs is detrimental to their mental health and can stop the person progressing in a timely manner onto other opportunities while waiting for a response that may never come.
