What the petition asks
Alcohol-related harm in the UK has reached record levels in 2025, with over 10,400 annual deaths (2023 data) and more than 360,000 hospital admissions (2024-25).
Stop delivery apps delivering alcohol. This has made it more accessible for people dealing with addiction, and it’s not regulated.

I’d like the government to stop alcohol being so easily available especially for people dealing with addiction. Businesses are gaining a lot of money off of high alcohol consumption. People are getting themselves into debt because you can still order even if your card is declined.
There is no limit of the amount of alcohol that can be brought & delivered, no ID needed, and multiple orders can be placed at any one time.
Put a stop to delivery apps selling and delivering alcohol completely.
