Require English versions of all election materials produced in other languages

What the petition asks
The UK Government should introduce legislation requiring that, for all Parliamentary and local elections, any election material (in any format: print, online, video, audio or other media) produced in a language other than English must also be produced in an English version of equal prominence.
Election materials help voters make informed choices. While materials in other languages can support accessibility, voters whose main language is English (the vast majority of the electorate) must not be excluded from the same information.
Requiring a parallel English version alongside any non-English material ensures transparency and fairness for everyone, without banning other languages. This would apply to party, candidate and official materials for central and local elections.
