Petition
Give Young People in Kent a Safe Place in Mental health crisis.
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
Kent has no crisis houses for under 18s. Young people Only have the option of hospital. They need a safe comfortable place to feel safe.
There are crisis houses for adults but none specifically for young people. I want local services to fund and open a safe, short-term crisis house for under-18s in Kent, with trained staff and 24/7 support, so young people have somewhere calm and supportive to go without needing hospital admission.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This is a local issue, responsibility for which lies with local authorities/charities, not the Government.
