What the petition asks
There is growing demand on the NHS with children affected by health issues. For some this can be linked to a lack of exercise and this can result in long term issues for children as they grow older and in turn increase demand on the NHS.
There are a number of children affected by health issues. There can be many reasons for this none the least of which is a lack of exercise. We are currently in difficult financial times for families and the cost of entry into soft play centres can prove prohibitive, because 20% of the entry fee is paid by operators in VAT.
If this removed more families may be able to afford entry into soft play thereby getting their exercise in disguise and reducing future demand on our NHS.
