What the petition asks

Get rid of the legal requirement in having to pay for a TV Licence in the UK to watch all tv channels. It is not fair that we pay for our TV and of course the electric to put into our homes yet we are expected to pay for a TV Licence just to access our TV Channels.

Government and Parliment need to seriously look at banning the UK TV Licence requirement for watching TV Channels. It is not fair especially the first 6 monthly payments costing over £29 per month for the first 6 months followed by almost £15 a month thereafter every month.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
