Petition
Do not join a war with Iran without complete and open public consultation & vote

What the petition asks
Lets not allow ourselves as the United Kingdom to get drawn into an endless war with Iran without robust, open and complete debate and argument, upto and potentially including a public vote.
We do not want to get drawn into another Iraq or Afghanistan. We do not want to sleepwalk into another disaster, killing countless people, spending vast amounts of money and making the world a less safe place. We ask that this is fully, robustly and completely debated and the public must be fully consulted. We reject the idea of sleepwalking into another directionless and ill-advised war without full consultation.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
