Heating oil needed to be regulated.

What the petition asks
The government needs to regulate and prevent property with rural areas being affected with the oil companies profiting from astronomical prices when conflict starts. This is not except able or even affordable to many households who are mainly elderly and people should not be expected to except this
The government is failing the estimated 1.5 millions homes who are now suffering at this latest price hike. We have seen a staggering 117% increase in oil costs in a week period. People will be now choosing to heat or eat. The government should hold their heads in shame if they think that this acceptable and realistic for people to pay. Pensioners are using all their pension in one hit to heat their homes. This is also not new oil this is old oil sitting sitting at oil bases.
