Keep the UK out of the Iran conflict. Use diplomacy to secure ceasefire and de-escalation. Bring UK nationals home urgently from the region (including military bases). Prevent blowbacks, wider war, refugee crisis and sharp rises in fuel, energy and food bills.
We are conveying the will of the people & instructing our government to keep the UK out of the Iran conflict; Use diplomacy to secure ceasefire and de-escalation; Evacuate UK nationals.
Recent reports indicate UK bases are being used to support US action, and further deployments are being prepared. Under the UN Charter, use of force is prohibited (Art 2(4)). Escalation/war risks blowbacks, civilian deaths, refugee flows, terrorism and shocks to oil/shipping that raise UK energy and food bills.
