Hold public inquiry on handling of trafficking allegations in the UK (2000–2020)

Serious allegations of trafficking and sexual exploitation connected to activity in the UK have been reported over many years. Public confidence depends on knowing whether UK institutions responded appropriately. An independent public inquiry would examine how allegations were handled, whether evidence was properly assessed and shared, and whether reforms are needed to improve accountability and protect victims.
