Protect Management & Leadership Apprenticeships
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
Stop the removal of leadership and management apprenticeships. Protect current Level 3–6 standards that support productivity, social mobility and effective managers. Work with employers to retain these vital programmes that businesses and public services depend on.
Defunding leadership and management apprenticeships will damage productivity, limit social mobility and weaken public services. These cuts remove proven routes for developing effective managers, risking skills gaps across the workforce. Employers warn that without trained line managers, young people entering work will lack the support, mentoring and progression pathways needed to build successful careers, and progression routes for young people will not become available.
