What the petition asks
I would like you to make Sir David Attenborough his very own, first ever £100 bank note with his face on it.
I want this to happen as he is one of the most famous British celebrities and he has done so much for the UK and bringing awareness to the planet's ecosystem. He is a brilliant man as he has also been knighted so I think, and many others, probably think he deserves his very own bank note.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Bank notes are the responsibility of the Bank of England, which is independent of the Government and Parliament.
