Petition
Withdraw permission for the US to use UK military bases to strike Iran
Rejected
9 signatures
What the petition asks
Revoke permission granted to the United States to use RAF Fairford and Diego Garcia to conduct offensive strikes against Iran. Require Parliament to vote before any further escalation of UK involvement in this conflict.
On 1 March 2026, the PM authorised US use of UK bases for Iran strikes.
On 20 March this expanded to the Strait of Hormuz, no parliamentary vote was held on either decision.
Iran's FM has warned Starmer is "putting British lives in danger." RAF Akrotiri has already been struck by a drone.
Iran's Health Ministry reports 1,444+ killed since 28 February. A YouGov poll found 58% of Britons oppose this. We call on the government to withdraw base access and require a parliamentary vote.
