Mandate action on Excessive Dog Barking Noise

Open for signatures 100 signatures

What the petition asks

We call on the Government to mandate meaningful and consistent action by local authorities to address excessive dog barking as a widespread noise nuisance affecting communities across the country.
Excessive dog barking is more than a minor annoyance—it can be a persistent noise disturbance that seriously affects people’s health, wellbeing, and ability to enjoy their own homes.

Across the country, many residents are experiencing repeated disruption caused by prolonged barking at all hours of the day and night. Over time, this can lead to sleep deprivation, increased stress and anxiety, and a decline in overall mental health, especially for vulnerable groups, including older people.
