What the petition asks

Introduce and Enforce Legislation around Youth / Young Adults wearing facing coverings in public to mask or Hide their identity under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

When Youth Wearing face coverings it is pronominally for the purpose of masking their identity when doing something they know not to. Creating the legislation does not just allow the Police to carry further powers to ensure ASB dose not happen but also allows the identification of people. When I had a Knife pulled on me, the police could not identify the male even though he is a known figure and face in sight.

These are the same youth that will scare old people and bring intimidation to us.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
