What the petition asks

West Northamptonshire council have imposed parking fees on a free to use facility, we as users of the skatepark and members of the local community demand that the council remove this change and keep the parking area free to use for the public.

Radlands Skate Plaza is a free public space built for community, not profit. Introducing parking charges undermines its purpose, limiting access for skaters and families. It’s unfair to those who fought to have it built after years of being pushed out. Parking charges threaten events - vendors and artists rely on vehicles. Extra costs risk killing local businesses. The council managed over 15 years without fees, this feels like a cash grab. If you care about the community, remove these charges.
