Petition
Drop government fuel tax to ease cost of living during crisis
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
Reduce fuel duty immediately to ease pressure on households and businesses. Lower transport costs will reduce prices across food, goods and services, supporting families, protecting jobs and helping the economy during this cost of living crisis.
Fuel costs are driving up prices across everything, from food to deliveries, putting huge pressure on households and businesses. High fuel duty is making it worse during an already difficult cost of living crisis. Reducing it would provide immediate relief, lower inflation, support jobs, and help businesses survive while protecting consumers from further price increases.
