Petition

Reduce Fuel Duty by 50%

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

Reduce fuel duty by at least 50% to ease financial pressure on households and businesses across the UK. Current fuel costs are too high and are impacting everyday travel, goods, and services.
The current 5p fuel duty freeze is not enough and fails to reflect the real cost of living crisis. High fuel prices increase costs across the economy. Reports suggest the Government has received significant additional revenue from higher fuel prices, estimated in the billions. I believe this should be used to reduce duty and support households and businesses.
