Petition
Ban nation wide horse racing.

What the petition asks
We call on the UK Government to introduce legislation to ban horse racing in order to protect horses from harm and exploitation.
Horse racing in the UK causes preventable injuries and deaths to thousands of horses every year. We believe it is unethical to use animals for entertainment when it puts them at risk of serious harm or death.
Horses used in racing are subjected to intense training, physical stress, and racing conditions that can lead to fatal injuries. Many are also retired early and may face uncertain futures, including slaughter.
We believe stronger animal welfare standards are not enough to address the inherent risks of this industry.
