Petition
Make it compulsory for food retailers to give food away rather than waste it
Rejected
10 signatures
What the petition asks
To pass a law making it illegal for retailers to throw food away, similar to France that have had a law in place since 2016
After numerous attempts to ask retailers to stop throwing food away and being fobbed off with corporate jargon, it’s time to ask questions in Parliament and provoke retailers to defend their policies.
