What the petition asks

By improving the understanding of Endometriosis & Adenomyosis in Primary Care, we can aid faster diagnosis, better management and more positive outcomes for the above named suspected or diagnosed conditions.
I am an individual diagnosed with both conditions who is also a newly qualified Nursing Associate working in Primary Care. I see first hand the lack of knowledge on these long-term, whole body conditions amongst the people I work with, but also from personal experience of getting my diagnosis and trying to receive optimal healthcare to manage my conditions. Over 1.5M people in the UK have Endometriosis and it takes an avg 9y to diagnose - this needs to change and it starts with GP education.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
