What the petition asks
Make it a legal requirement to impose fines, points or prosecutions when drivers don’t stop and report hitting a cat. Same law as dog or horses.
In Daventry we lost a community beloved cat due to this and the driver did not stop. It has broken the hearts of a lot people. No pet owner should have to go through this
