Mandate higher minimum wage for night shift workers
Open for signatures

What the petition asks
We call on the Government to actively increase the rights of night shift workers by instituting a higher minimum wage specifically for those working nights, along with more comprehensive well-being services.
Night shift workers are acutely aware of what we give up for our jobs: our health, our social lives, and our overall well-being. These roles can predispose us to a variety of health complications. Studies have demonstrated a link between night work and increased risks of depression, loneliness, low energy, and even serious cardiovascular problems. The lack of sunlight affects us greatly, both physically and mentally, diminishing our quality of life and making simple social interactions a struggle.
