Require full forensic autopsies for all unexplained deaths

What the petition asks
We ask the UK Government to introduce legislation requiring that all unexplained deaths are subject to a full forensic autopsy as standard practice.
Unexplained deaths leave families without answers and may risk important evidence being missed. While coroners currently investigate such deaths, we believe that practices are inconsistent and may not always include a full forensic post-mortem examination. A mandatory forensic autopsy would help ensure Greater accuracy in determining causes of death, Improved detection of criminal activity or negligence
