Review ASB’s cumulative harm and improve system coordination

What the petition asks
Antisocial behaviour (ASB) can have a serious cumulative impact on health, sleep and the ability to work. In our view, responses are often uncoordinated, with no clear accountability. This petition calls for recognition of ASB and improved response coordination between services.
In our experience ASB is often treated as low-level crimes, but repeated exposure can harm the surrounding community leading to poor sleep, health and negative impact on the ability to work. ONS data shows high volumes of ASB, and local authorities receive hundreds of thousands of noise complaints annually. Yet we believe responses are often fragmented across authorities with no clear responsibility, leaving people living with ongoing harm despite repeated reporting.
