Call for stronger legal consequences for malicious prosecutions

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

We, the undersigned, call on lawmakers and relevant authorities to take stronger action against individuals who initiate or pursue malicious prosecutions that unjustly harms others.
We believe that stronger measures are needed to:

- Ensure accountability for those who deliberately misuse the legal system
- Provide meaningful compensation and support for victims
- Deter future cases of malicious or bad-faith prosecutions
- Reinforce public trust in the justice system

Justice must protect not only those bringing claims in good faith, but also those wrongly targeted by abuse of the system.

We call on parliament to take immediate steps to strengthen legislation
