Fund Increased Housing Support for Veterans and Service Families

What the petition asks
We call on the UK Government to fund housing support and reform the Service Family Accommodation eviction processes to protect veterans from homelessness after discharge.
Service families should not be leaving the Armed Forces only to face courtrooms, debt, and homelessness as their reward for service.
Funding should also be allocated to mandatory homelessness prevention reviews for veterans and service families, and for grants to help cover council tax for those who require it. We believe that families with children, disabilities, and additional needs should not be forced into homelessness after service, and that veterans deserve stability, dignity, and proper support—not court orders, debt, and eviction after serving Great Britain.
