Petition
Give more flexibility rights to working parents and single working parents

What the petition asks
The government needs to lay down a law regarding working parents, particularly single working parents and employers. This law needs to ensure employers have to be flexible around employees childcare arrangements and take into account that not everyone has external support.
It’s very simple, employers will not listen to their employees and expect them to drop everything for their job. Employers refuse to be flexible around an employees childcare arrangements and then in turn single parents either get fired or have to leave and have to turn to benefits which do not cover house hold bills, yet employers are not being held accountable for their lack of understanding.
