Reinstating the Aylesbury Spur: Ensuring Full Connectivity in EWR Phase One
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
This strategic necessity of reinstating the Aylesbury Spur within the initial delivery phase of the East West Rail (EWR) project. To achieve a truly integrated national infrastructure, it is imperative that the network does not leave key regional hubs isolated from the primary Oxford-Cambridge axis.
All Aylesbury residents want this link, the people in Oxford want this Link, same for Cambridge, Milton Keynes and everyone else involved in the original EWR plans.
Why it was rejected
It was about a matter for a local council or devolved government, not the UK Government or Parliament.
