Make directly threatening action based on a constituency’s voting record illegal

What the petition asks
We believe that voters should feel free to vote for whatever candidate they prefer, and not be guided by threats of Government action in the constituency based on the voting record of that constituency, and that therefore making such threats as a part of political campaigning should be illegal.
A recent political campaign stated that detention centres would be placed in constituencies which were not voting for a specific party, and we believe that this can be perceived as a threat by many. In our view political campaign standards need to become more robust to ensure this type of threat is not acceptable.
