Fund IVF & PGT-SR for all families with genetic conditions

What the petition asks
We ask the Government to fund NHS-provided access to IVF & PGT-SR for all families with diagnosed genetic conditions, such as hereditary chromosome abnormalities.
We want treatment to be based on medical need & genetic risk, not income, and for factors like having a child & your postcode to be excluded.
Many couples are denied NHS-funded IVF and PGT-SR simply because they already have one child, despite facing a high risk of miscarriage, failed IVF cycles, infertility, or passing on serious genetic abnormalities.
We believe this creates an unfair system based on postcode and financial circumstances rather than medical need. Families may be forced to pay £10,000+ privately per cycle for treatment that is not elective, but medically necessary to give them the best chance of a healthy pregnancy.
