Petition

Call a General Election in light of recent local election results.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Listen to the voice of the electorate and give the people what they want in the form of a general election.
The last time this petition was launched, the petitions authority threw it out saying it had been debated already. However, following on from the local elections in May 2026, it is apparent from the landslide victories of other parties, that the electorate have had enough and no longer have faith in the Labour party as a collective.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
