Review protections for England’s National Parks from industrial infrastructure

What the petition asks
Review protections for England’s National Parks from industrialisation caused by large infrastructure projects. Stop private companies from damaging the environment, through projects not in keeping with local areas, even where biodiversity net gain might be demonstrated.
We believe our National Parks, such as the Peak District National Park, deserve better protection from large-scale industrial infrastructure projects. They are the jewel in the crown of our land, a vital natural haven for wildlife, and an escape for the public from the trials of modern life. They contribute to our economy via tourism, and help improve the mental health of the population.
